I saw WarGames in the cinema when it was released. I remember thinking it was frightening- not least because I had NO idea what all the computer stuff was all about. But, saying that, it certainly looked very cool. Really enjoyed this post!
Thank you. I saw at that time, too, and still watch it occasionally - I may have seen it more than 20 times, mind you (I'm always rewatching my favourite films). I remember pretty well the climate of paranoia and dread, but I found the whole thing about computers and hacking fascinating. And as many others from my generation, I got a crush on Ally Sheedy.
